Play easier teams
To play against a weakened side simply assign yourself as the manager of your next opponent and pick a poor team for them. This can work wonders if you put a striker in goal and goalkeepers in Attack.

Easier funds
To gain greater transfer funds you will again have to assign yourself as a manager of another team, preferably Chelsea or Man Utd. Then use all the transfer funds available to buy some incredibly poor quality players. This will then allow you to get rid of those players you never wanted and gain large sums of cash as well.
