Previously PES 5 seemed to have it all wrapped up with an excellent game, albeit lacking official kits and players, but PES 6 adds the finishing touches for soccer gaming on the PS2. Konami have taken soccer to the max, it seems the only the next generation of consoles could improve upon this title.

Movement is now matching to the player more than ever. Ronaldo will now move like Ronaldo, not a CPU created player, its almost perfectly matching how each player would move. Players don't just look like themselves, they move, dribble and kick the ball like they do in real life.

PES 6 has more animations where the players express there emotions more vividly. Thumping of the ground or looking into the sky and asking the Gods "How did I miss that chance" are represented well. PES 6 is now exciting from a spectators view.

Scoring a goal is tougher. Creativity and searching for the perfect pass is more valuable. Pro Evolution asks more innovative thinking from the gamer than ever before.
